CfL is recruiting: Join our committee

Conservatives for Liberty is recruiting a new committee. Members of the committee will each have distinct responsibilities, but will be expected to work together, assist with other areas and help to develop the organisation’s strategy. All roles are voluntary and unpaid, working from home with no specific working hours.

Head of Membership

This role is being created to ensure CfL properly serves its existing members, and expands its membership. The Head of Membership will be responsible for: maintaining the membership database, recruiting new members and keeping members up-to-date with CfL developments, including producing a monthly newsletter. Encouraging members to get involved and communicating their needs to the Committee will also be a key part of this role.

Events Assistant

The Events Assistant will work on general events planning and management, including booking venues, promoting events, and making sure events run smoothly. This will include monthly events in London, an event at Party conference and looking at opportunities to develop a national events programme.

Head of Campaigns

The Head of Campaigns will be responsible for coordinating CfL campaigns on specific issues, including producing and commissioning content such as briefing papers, press releases and blogs. This role involves working with other members of the committee to  coordinate blog posts, events and contact with opinion leaders.

Researchers

Working on a variety of topics, Researchers will either assist with or be responsible for research into various topics. This includes making and processing Freedom of Information requests and research from other sources, and communicating findings through briefing papers, press releases, blog posts and research papers.

Blog Contributors

Additionally, we are always interested in hearing from people who would like to write for the CfL blog, on a regular or ad-hoc basis.
